Boys Varsity Basketball ready to take on BCS

Ryan Thompson, News Editor

Are you filled with school spirit? Are you looking for something to do this Thursday night?

If you answered yes to either of these questions, this Thursday, January 9th, our varsity boys basketball team will face off against Bradenton Christian at 7:00 in the Hoagland Arena arena. This is a MUST-SEE basketball game.  The boys are exciting to watch.

After a thrilling 56-55 win over Braden River on Saturday, the Falcons are hoping to keep their momentum rolling as they face Cardinal Mooney tonight, Tuesday.

With four players scoring over ten points against a very talented Braden River defense (Ty Barker 18, Cade Westberry 15, Demetrius Davis 10, and Jordan Edwards 10), the Falcons offense is firing on all cylinders, helping them reach a record of 8-3 through their first 11 games.

This Thursday night, the Falcons take on the Bradenton Christian Panthers to continue the rivalry series. The boys basketball team gave credit for their win over Braden River to the fans in attendance that night, and they are hoping for a similar turnout against cross-town rival BCS.
