Thursday, as the morning was hitting its stride on campus, a strange phenomenon began to take place: Tiny rubber duckies were turning up every where around the school.

The little yellow ducks appeared in various places around campus, like The Nest, in trophy cases, and on shelves in the library.  The Gauntlet counted over 20 in a brief search throughout the Holmes Building.

As of publication, no explanation could be found for the mysterious appearance of the ducks. It was rumored that the dropping of the ducks was some form of a “senior prank,” or perhaps, a reaction to this week’s cell phone “social experiment,” during which students and staff must turn in their phones in the morning.  None of these rumors could be confirmed.
