Pink is the new green? Green absence forms change color, Twitter is ablaze

In a surprise move from administration, the beloved “green sheets” (forms used to announce an absences) have changed colors to, wait for it, pink. Here’s all you need to know.

Green sheets are now pink?

A recent change in the much-loved hue of our absence forms has the student body confounded.

The “green sheet,” a form used by students to indicate a planned absence, is now, wait for it, pink.

Over time, the steady flow of green became a constant in the life of an SSES student.  When a student had to miss a day, the comforting shade of green was always there for them.

So why the massive shift in color? Like all things, The Gauntlet headed to the knower of all things, Mr. Holt, to get some answers.

Apparently, the change is simply due to a shortage of green printer paper, and a surplus of pink.

But not everyone is okay with the move.  Junior Astrid Culp said, “I’m not a fan; Green is a much more attractive color than pink.  I don’t know why they’d ever go through with such a change.”
