On March 2nd and 3rd, Saint Stephen’s sent three wrestlers to the Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee, Florida. The wrestlers who competed at the state tournament were Jake Manning (Junior), Max Manning (Senior) and Parker Lansberg (Senior).

The state tournament featured wrestlers from around the state of Florida. After two days of intense competition, Jake Manning placed 4th in the 113-pound weight class. He is now the second Falcon to ever place at the state tournament.

This is an outstanding accomplishment for Manning, considering the fierce competition that was featured in his weight class.

The Saint Stephen’s wrestling program has made incredible strides in the past four years. Four years ago, there was very little to say about the program, however, they’ve now sent wrestlers to the state tournament in two consecutive years  having athletes place in each of those tournaments.

Wrestling has definitely become one of the most prominent programs at the school.
