First Falcon Friends to be held this Thursday

This Thursday is the first Falcon Friend event of the year. This time we will be making “Blessing Buckets” to help support or neighbors in the Bahamas.

This Thursday, October 3rd during adviory, is the first Falcon Friend event of the year. Falcon Friend events are hour-long, community-building activities with where older Falcons are paired up with younger “falcon friends” from the lower divisions.

Over the years, older Falcons tend to develop relationships with their small friends, providing an opportunity for bonding as their years at Saint Stephen’s pass.

Typically, there is an element of service involved. For instance the project could be making cards for the elderly in nursing homes, creating packages for soldiers, or writing cards for people impacted by natural disasters.

These activities help foster community, encourage mentorship, and create lasting friendships between the older and younger Saint Stephen’s students.

For our first Falcon Friend event, to be held this Thursday, we will be making “Blessing Buckets,” packages of items needed by hurricane victims impacted by Hurricane Dorian.

Here is the link that provides more instruction on what “Blessing Buckets” are and how to make them.
