Lunchtime favorite returns to the loggia; excitement ensues

As the Upper School student body squeezed themselves into the Commons on a Wednesday morning, they didn’t know that they’d be encountering what some have called “the highlight of the year.”

On Wednesday, September 26th, Dr. Pullen announced that Chick-fil-a would be returning to the Lunch Loggia menu. As of Tuesday, October 2nd, Chick-fil-a will be served during lunch,  but it will only be available for pre-order.

“You must preorder your chicken sandwiches,” emphasized Mr. Forrester during the assembly, repeating the phrase several times into the microphone.

In a hilarious display of excitement, the student body exploded into cheers following the announcement, only for the news to be followed up with even more good news. The lunch program is also in the process of trying to serve pizza on Mondays and Wednesdays, as well as the much-loved sushi on Fridays.

After much negative response to the changes that had been made earlier in the year, students are excited to have the lunch they’ve always loved served again.
