The Legacy of Dr. Pullen Cemented in the New S.T.E.A.M. Center
On Thursday Aug. 14, the ribbon-cutting for the Janet. S. Pullen S.T.E.A.M. Center brought the community together to celebrate the new building and our former head of school.

Annette Logan, Executive Director
Annette Logan is a sophomore at Saint Stephen’s Episcopal School. This is her second year as a member of the Gauntlet, and she is serving as the Co-Executive Director of Production. Sawyer Girgis, Executive Director
Sawyer Girgis is a senior and Executive Director of Production for The Gauntlet. When Sawyer is not interacting on campus and interviewing peers and faculty, he spends his time with his brothers on the football team, vibing to Aerosmith, lifting, and performing in the local community. Sawyer wants to continue his video journalism career as a hobby in college, while he plans to major in Biological Sciences at the University of Florida. You can contact him at [email protected]
Carter Hasbrouck, Video Journalist
Carter Hasbrouck is a Junior, and this is his second year in the Gauntlet. He worked hard creating videos during his first year, so he is excited to be in an exclusively video-based Gauntlet class. He is mostly excited for this year’s STN challenge, as it was the highlight of last year’s Gauntlet class. Carter enjoys watching movies, his favorites being Beautiful Boy and Hereditary. Luke Ribeiro-de Sá, Video Journalist
Luke Ribeiro-de Sá is a Junior and a 2nd-year videographer and editor on The Gauntlet. This year, Luke departed the Writing Team and has now fully joined the Video Team. He also enjoys a read of CNBC or a watch of Shark Tank. When Luke isn’t actively pursuing a video, he will spend his time talking to people for way too long or watching TV. Lark Rippy, Video Journalist
Sophomore Lark Rippy is a video journalist and staff writer on The Gauntlet. She has three goldendoodles and loves theater, history, and 19th century literature. Her favorite hobbies are reading, historical costuming, and watching Gilmore Girls, and her dream school is Oxford.
