Save the date for March 3rd, because Rock the MAC is back!
Event planners encourage the school community and others to come rock the night away with food and fun! For entertainment, the show will celebrate the music of two classic rock icons through tribute bands playing music of Tom Petty & the Heartbreaks and U2. The music starts at 6pm, and no coolers are allowed.
Along with great music, food trucks will be available with food from Smokin’ Momma Lora’s and Carousel’s Icery.
Athletic Director Cole Hudson advises all families to come out.
“I think it’s a great way to stay connected with the community,” Hudson said. “Not only are we gonna have incredible bands at the concert, but community events are very important to us.”
If you haven’t gotten your tickets yet, they start at just $25 and are available at https://www.saintstephens.
Along with general admission there will be VIP tickets sold. You do not need to sponsor the event if purchasing a VIP ticket. VIPs will get front row seating, unlimited access to the Hospitality Hub, two drink tickets to the Beer Garden, and an exclusive concert t-shirt.
Hudson explained that all proceeds from tickets will go towards funding our sports program.
The main athletic fundraiser is a big night for the school. The funds generated will help purchase equipment, uniforms, and general fees throughout the year.
The concert will be held on our Moore Athletic Complex on the turf at Saint Stephen’s Episcopal School, Bradenton.
