Coach Fletcher spent summer going to nearly every theme park in Florida.

Matt Fletcher

Matt Fletcher has been coaching at Saint Stephens for 8 years and is spending his second year working on campus. Along with his exciting summer adventures, the basketball coach said he spent some time on campus helping all the school’s divisions. He “was [at school] for basketball,” coaching high school varsity along with “fourth and fifth graders and a couple of younger kids too.” Coach Fletcher also added that he spent time doing “a summer camp for one week.”

While helping out at school over the summer, Coach Fletcher also had fun going to several arcades and DEFY trampoline park with his girlfriend and her daughter. Coach said they vacationed to “pretty much every theme park in Florida.” He got to experience some parks for the first time like Volcano Bay in Orlando and Busch Gardens in Tampa. Out of the many theme parks in Florida, Fletcher said he enjoyed SeaWorld in orange country the most. The reason behind this being: he “didn’t have to wait in line for everything,” so he could see and feed all the animal attractions without waiting; “whereas at Busch Gardens you have to wait in line for every ride.”

Fletcher had fun visiting theme and trampoline parks but he most appreciated getting “to spend more quality time with [his] girlfriends daughter” and “build [their] bond a little bit more.”
