Gym Day is an annual gathering for the upper school during which each grade level competes in competitions to earn spirit points. In past years, Gym Day only included indoor games in the Hoagland Arena, such as basketball, volleyball, dodgeball, ships & sailors, and soccer.

This year, for the second consecutive year, the Student Council implemented the Powderpuff football game (featuring all-female players), and the boys cheerleading competition. The success of this event will hopefully lead the game being a permanent fixture in coming years out on the Moore Athletic Complex.

So how did the grade level teams do?  Here’s a quick recap of the placings in each event.

All placements below go from first to last place.

Volleyball: seniors, juniors, sophomores, freshman

Soccer: sophomores, freshman, seniors, juniors

Dodgeball: seniors, sophomores, juniors, freshman

Ships and sailors: seniors, juniors, sophomores, freshmen

Basketball: seniors, freshman, sophomores, juniors

Powderpuff: seniors, sophomores, juniors, freshman

Cheer: seniors, juniors, sophomores, freshman
