Boys and Girls Basketball Senior Night

Tonight, Tuesday, both the boys and girls varsity basketball teams are hosting cross-town rival Out-of-Door Academy for senior night at the Hoagland Arena.  Senior night ceremonies for both teams will take place at 6:45pm. 

Through this point of the season, the girls basketball team has won six out of twelve games. They have scored a total of 586 points while allowing 476.

The girls have a 48.3 point per game average on offense, while allowing 39.6 per game. 

The boys basketball team, ranked 17th in the state, has won ten of sixteen contests so far this season scoring 1,010 points while allowing 858. With a hot offense scoring an average of 63.1 points per game and a success on the other side of the court allowing only 53.6 points per game, the boys basketball team has been turning heads this season.

The girls basketball game tonight will start at 5:30, and the boys game at 7:00, with senior night festivities and celebrations between the games.

The girls team will celebrate their seniors, Hannah Arendt, Claudia Sbaschnik, and LeNae Jones, and the boys will celebrate their seniors, Demetrius Davis, and Vaughn Hayes.
